This notice covers stackkit.co.uk and the sites we host for you. It is meant to be readable. If you want something deleting, email hello@stackkit.co.uk.
What we collect
If you make an account: name, email, password (stored hashed), and optionally a Google login. If you build a site: the business details, copy and photos you enter. If someone uses your enquiry form: whatever they submit, which is emailed to you and may be stored if you are on a plan that keeps enquiries.
We also see ordinary technical data: IP address, browser, pages requested, and cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not sell this, and we do not run a lead marketplace.
Why we use it
To run the product, keep you signed in, host your site, send enquiry and password emails, and fix problems. The legal bases are the contract to provide the service, and legitimate interests in keeping it secure and improving it. Where we need consent (for example optional marketing we have not started yet), we will ask.
Where it lives
The app runs on Cloudflare. Account data, site data and sessions are stored in Cloudflare D1. Emails may be sent through Cloudflare Email. That means processing can happen on Cloudflare’s network, including outside the UK, under their standard contractual terms.
How long we keep it
Account and site data stay while the account is open. If you ask us to delete the account we will remove it from the live product, except where we must keep a record (for example a billing dispute or abuse). Enquiry emails sit in your inbox under your control.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, and you can object to some processing. Email hello@stackkit.co.uk. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
We use a session cookie so you stay logged in. That is required for the product. We do not use advertising cookies.
